The quote “communication is the key to success” stands true for our life as well as gaming. And for better and clear communication while playing an exciting game, a gamer needs to have a good quality microphone. The gaming headset comes with an excellent quality built-in microphone so the user doesn’t feel the need to purchase separate mic for just playing games. The active noise cancellation technology used in the headset gives you a crisp and clear communication experience by omitting the background noise. Many of these headsets come with a portable microphone. Meaning, the users can attach and detach the microphone as per their convenience.

Talking about the sound quality of the gaming headsets, they usually tend to have more bass, which is preferred by most of the gamers out there. The lack of controlling treble makes these headsets quite unsuitable for listening to music. However, there are some experienced brands out there in the market that manufacture a good quality gaming headset with suitable drivers and software support to provide a decent musical experience.

The vital feature about gaming headsets is Surround sound. It provides a user the awareness of directions from where the particular sound is coming. There are two types of surround sound headsets: one that offers Real surrounding sound and other Virtual surround sounds. In real surrounding sound technology, there is actual hardware available on both of the sides. The driver coordinates the different sounds to provide the experience as real as possible.
